there are so many "layers" of sound coming out of each of my 2 home speakers...it just seems impossible to hear the song right if its not comng out of some kind half million dollar set-up in a club. i dont think i've heard so many layers of sound at the same time in a song..i mean, am i just hearing it that way, or is that how it really is? back when this came out in the clubs it was much better.
I lived and breathed the downward spiral as a teen. This being one of my favorites, at 0:50 with the "industrial" sledge in the background sounds incredible.
