As I was watshing this , I totaly identified with some of what was said because growing up I was told that men were attracted 2 women with long hair. However 4 some reason the song "I Am Not My Hair" by India Arie crossed my mind. In the song, she asked, "Is it the way I wear my hair make me a better person?" The answer 2 that question is No. It's just hair It's the inner beauty & the soul that lives within that matters.

I really really really love mixed hair. I regret cutting my hair so much. It was so thick, and long and wavy and beautiful. And then I chopped it off because everyone teased me for it being so big. Now, I can't grow my hair back to that length... It's been 3 years since I've cut it around my ears... And now it only reaches 1 or 2 inches past my shoulders. It's really stressing me out.

black women want white women's hair, im asian and i want black hair. damn i LOVEEEEEEEEEEE kimberly's hair! i hate my straight hair, i've done dreads, braids, crimped it...i just hate my straight hair. and its not coz of work or beauty coz my bosses have told me my dreadlocks weren't acceptable and my asian friends tell me how ugly it is to not have straight hair...so there's no such thing as good or bad hair to me. its just perceptions, preferance and culture.

Tara's hair is so beautiful in my opinion! It really complements her face & that great bone structure. Also, I think that the girls in this show that didn't change their hair had a much more confident aura about them, & everyone knows there's nothing more attractive than confidence & pride.

these sisters are creating conflict with each other....because of HAIR?? black hair and other textured hair may be different, but all women's value of hair couldn't be that different. hair is not worth creating bad feelings between sisters. that is just stupid.
