if there are those of you that think black hair cant grow long and it all in the genes, then you obviously might not have been looking at the right youtube videos. the truth is right under your nose:ex: longhairdontcare2011, kimmaytube, rusticbeauty, sera2544, etc.
p.s.- if it werent for youtube i would have never known that my black hair could grow so long. i thank god everyday
someone send me a link to this movie
This may be the wrong place to ask but I've noticed African males, and of course not just Americans, have very straight or neat hair lines?
Does that take effort or is that natural the same as a widows peak?
I would love to see this movie and find out if it was the exact same movie with deeper research done to give a broad view of the opinions surrounding nappy or good hair, but being as I cannot find it anywhere I'm tempted to think that it was just different views of the same issue to give a male as well as a female point of view.
Dreads are cooler than most hair styles so I don't know what your talking about
April 2010 ... SOLD OUT London this weekend. Standing room only and people were sill turned away. The Q & A was long, but great. Thanks for the warm welcome UK
@IgnoranceIsNotCute I went to see this too in London. it was great!
is this a movie? in theatres or on DVD???
where can I see this/ get a copy??
WHY HASNT THIS BEEN PUBLICIZED!!?
i hate the media. this should be a frontliner. all black people need to see this, whether your hair is natural or straight!
Cool thanks
FINALLY this is in London I have my tickets and I can't wait to see it...for those that don't know where it is it's showing @ 3pm Sunday April 11th @ Tricycle theatre google it
why didn't they promote this film to theaters than Good Hair? Chris Rock wouldn't even go as deep as this documentary.
sucks to have nappy hair lol 99% of black guys have shaved heads and 90% of black women have short or fake hair damn it sucks for black people
chris rock stole your shine....and his shit was lame as fuck
I WANNA SEE THIS ONE....where can i get a hold of it???
i saw good hair and i really enjoyed it but this one seems more well put together and it talks about the history of black.. i really want to c this movie
if u have a perm i will talk about u
monkeys
wool lol
Wonders aloud..."If this has been out since 2006, WHY CAN"T I buy it at a video store, netflix it or Rapidshare it?"
I think that the lawsuit would have had more teeth if this was actually in consumer's hands. I've seen "Good Hair", but I'd like to see this one as well as to compare/contrast and learn from it.
When can I download the documentary?
and 0:26 her hair is particularly gorgeous
the racist pictures in this documentary make me cringe at the thought of such ignorence back in the day. i am ashamed that such travestys as minipulating poeple into thinking one person is superior to another, disgusting! we are all one!! but great documentary nonetheless, there is only ONE RACE PEOPLE, the human race!!!!
allot of black ppl self hate which is really sad.not only black ppl but also indian ppl and oriental.they bleach their skin, wear weaves just to reach da standrad set by the white man.its sad dat allot of ethnic ppl still believe in white supremacy.slavery and the colonizations really messed up with our heads.its time to change.
trini is dat meant 2 be a racial refrence?shame on u for bin a racist low life.allot
of white men actually copy black men style
not all black ppl look alike eitha.u need to educate yourself before u make such outragous comments.
trini i actually see many indians with curly/wavy hair.not all indians have straight hair.if by indians u mean the indian sub continent.not the native americans of the u.s
I like the clip, is there going to be another showing?
