if there are those of you that think black hair cant grow long and it all in the genes, then you obviously might not have been looking at the right youtube videos. the truth is right under your nose:ex: longhairdontcare2011, kimmaytube, rusticbeauty, sera2544, etc.

p.s.- if it werent for youtube i would have never known that my black hair could grow so long. i thank god everyday

This may be the wrong place to ask but I've noticed African males, and of course not just Americans, have very straight or neat hair lines?

Does that take effort or is that natural the same as a widows peak?

I would love to see this movie and find out if it was the exact same movie with deeper research done to give a broad view of the opinions surrounding nappy or good hair, but being as I cannot find it anywhere I'm tempted to think that it was just different views of the same issue to give a male as well as a female point of view.

why didn't they promote this film to theaters than Good Hair? Chris Rock wouldn't even go as deep as this documentary.

  • hemsley12345 says:

Wonders aloud..."If this has been out since 2006, WHY CAN"T I buy it at a video store, netflix it or Rapidshare it?"

I think that the lawsuit would have had more teeth if this was actually in consumer's hands. I've seen "Good Hair", but I'd like to see this one as well as to compare/contrast and learn from it.

the racist pictures in this documentary make me cringe at the thought of such ignorence back in the day. i am ashamed that such travestys as minipulating poeple into thinking one person is superior to another, disgusting! we are all one!! but great documentary nonetheless, there is only ONE RACE PEOPLE, the human race!!!!

  • lail111 says:
