thank you very much for this. can you get the same trim if you you braid you hair in sections. because you still see the same ends sticking out and i think you can actually see exactly where to cut better. Please get back thank you

this method is thorough and it's really good if you don't want to spend any money.
Anyhow, the split ender costs like 60 bucks.
you can get it online from amazon or on the split ender website. You could also probably get it at an As Seen On TV store, if they have one where you live.

What's a Split Ender I've never heard of that in my life, my hair goes to the small of my back and if i could get one of those i wouldn't be going through hell trying to trim my ends. where do you get one and how much do they cost? would love a reply thanks so much.

would i cut my split ends right after i blow dry my hair or right after i straighten my hair.? please reply.!

I'm always amazed at how many people say they want my hair - just like with you girls. And I don't get it at all, because it's full of split ends, it's still damaged from all the coloring and it's a messy cut because I don't have the money to go to a salon. But somehow it looks better than it is from up close.

i know i say the same thing haha, yeah your right :) and everyones hair is beautiful in its own ways.

  • babyv2992010 says:

haha. when people say they want my hair, i say they can have it lol. i dont think there really is a such think as "good hair". everyones hair has flaws. if "good hair" is going to be a term, i think it should mean healthy hair, no matter the length and texture :)

  • taylorebabycakes says:

haha! yep that sounds like my hair to, lol, whenever people tell me they want my hair im like your only seeing one side of my hair, the straight finished part. They dont even know haha! but yeah the worst thing is the split ends D: i get the worst split ends real quick and they look frieddd

  • babyv2992010 says:

wow did you like just read my mind lol. i have the curliest hair known to man and it takes over an hour to straighten it. my ends start looking fried and when there is moisture in the air, i look like i stuck a clowns wig on my head lol. i dont get why people think i have "good hair". and i dont want to get a perm because i dont want my hair to fall out. lol

  • taylorebabycakes says:

exactly! my friends tell me i have "good hair" also cuz its mixed but it has its own problems like being to thick and REALLY kinky curly so it takes me forever to straighten it and that gives me split ends. ALSO when its humid outside my hair looks like it got in a fight wit a tumbleweed

  • babyv2992010 says:

yea i know same for me. my heritage consists of a whole bunch of thing and my hair just happens to grow fast too. but friends tell me i dont understand because i have "good hair". they dont get that my hair isnt perfect and has its own problems. they are just so wrapped up in length and not caring enough about taking care of it

  • taylorebabycakes says:

well yeah i could see how trimming just the least bit off could bother some black women. i tried to convince my friend that it would make it grow faster and she said it works for me bc im mixed.

  • babyv2992010 says:

im definitely goin to do this!!

  • babyv2992010 says:

because alot of them are obsessed with length. i guess some dont realize that trimming the ends will make it grow better and healthier. alot of black women hate to get rid of their hair. (btw im not talking about ALL black women)

  • modelchic413 says:

what if you have short hair? is this technique good or shoukd i jyst stick to clipping the ends w/out twisting

  • taylorebabycakes says:

I heard trimming split ends makes your hair grow faster because the hair wont split in half and break off, so why dont black people just keep cutting their split ends so there hair dont break off?

  • brazilianlover08 says:

Thanks for replying. You are the best. I actually tried the wet trim and it turned out great. Thanks

  • ITZM3BYTCH09 says:

...lol, I swear, I thought it was just me:) I said imma wait and see if someone else notices this too, she looks just like her

  • abunnieslife says:

it's better to trim on wet hair thats my opinon but u can trim on either .

  • Ursin101 says:

I am going to try this hair trimming technique on myself.

  • hellokj100 says:
