Brushing your hair while it is wet is a bad thing, but brushing your hair regularly should not be a problem, as long as you are not stressing the hair too much and brushing excessively =).

does the olive oil heat protector actually says heat protector on it??? if it doesn't then it is not a heat protector

  • mzjazzy97 says:

Brushing is only bad if you over manipulate the hair. Brushing can be good because it increases blood flow to the scalp. The only problem is when people start over manipulating their hair and it starts to fall out and break off.

brushing ur hair ISNT bad. Ppl are SUPPOSE to use paddle brushes or any brush with the ball ends on them. But most ppl use a styling brush to brush their hair. A styling brush is the one EVERYONE had growing up. The one that comes in EVERY color and style and u can get at the hair store for like 75 cents lol Those are bad because the nylon bristles can catch the hair and cause damage. Brushing is actually good. It helps manipulate the scalp and increase blood flow (which promotes growth).

You know, not to sound like an ass, but if you are suffering from heat damage, then you should stop using heat. No amount of product is truely going to protect your hair.

how does organic root stiumulator lotion protects from heat

  • sugarhoneyice says:

Great tut! :-) You should really use a heat protecting serum. It is extra protection for your curls. Maybe that is why you have the heat damage, no offense. You hair is still lovely.
