The only reason I gave this an overall 4 is b/c I couldn't rate the educational value higher than 2 stars. My 4yo LOVES LOVES LOVES this toy! The blow dryer makes the noise but also blows cool air which she thinks is great. I wish it had a more durable case (hard plastic would be great) but that's my only complaint (and I guess if she wants to be a cosmetologist this toy is VERY educational LOL)

I bought this set for my 4 yr. old grandaughter for Christmas. The whole family had a ball with it. Just the right size for little hands,and we loved the sound effects the hair dryer has.

my little girl got this for her 4th birthday. we absolutely love this toy! and i say "we" because i love to be her model while she "styles" my hair. the hair dryer that actually blows light air and sounds like a (much quieter) real dryer is amazing. and as for durability--it's a toy...no, it's not really going to hold your hair like a real curling iron would, but it's perfect for what it is. it's pink, it's prissy, and there are enough tools in the kit that two girls can style at the same time. this toy is perfect for any girly girl out there.

My daughter loves this toy. I think she will play with it for a long time, but the price shocks me. It is cheaply made. I am glad she received it as a gift since it is pricey for what it is. So buy it to make your child happy...She LOVES LOVES LOVES it., but buy it knowing it won't stand the test of time.
